Exterior design
The design of the sweeping front draws your eye to the car’s subtle curves and harmonious lines. The distinctive headlight cluster with its ‘wing’ signature and radiator grille highlights the flowing lines of the bonnet and the wide presence of the Insignia 5-door Saloon is highlighted by the integrated wheel arch extensions. FlexRide chassis
The Vauxhall Insignia features a class-leading electronic chassis control system. FlexRide adaptive stability technology increases your driving safety and enjoyment, instantly reacting to changing conditions and adapting to your driving style immediately.
The ‘Sport’ setting sharpens the response of the speed-sensitive steering, throttle input, and automatic transmission (when fitted), and the dampers are stiffened to ensure optimal road contact.
Adaptive 4x4
Stability and handling are also enhanced by the Adaptive 4x4 system’s proactive, instantaneous torque distribution.
The dynamic components include a torque transfer device (TTD) and an electronic limited-slip differential at the rear axle. Both are latest-generation Haldex units and service-free. Adaptive 4x4 is fully integrated with all the other dynamic control systems of the Vauxhall Insignia and it responds more sportily when the ‘Sport’ mode is activated.
